My name is John Daley. I am a photographer based in Massachusetts. I’ve been taking photos for a long time and decided I needed a place to show my work — so this is that.

I’ve also included some recent ongoing stuff, including new photos and updated edits of older work. Here’s what I’ve been up to in 2024 and so far in 2025. And, of course, there are dog photos.

I don’t generally take commercial work. I shoot for myself. Black & White primarily but sometimes a little color, too, especially for travel shots. Street Photography is my favorite genre. Gary Winogrand and Vivian Maier are my primary inspirations.

I’m into the gear. I have way too many cameras.

I am a member of the Duxbury Camera Club and I occasionally post about club events.
