For me, black & white images have a timeless appeal. It’s what I shot when I first picked up a camera and it’s’ still my favorite type of photo.
This collection contains some B&W images, old and new, that I like.

It’s a challenge to photograph iconic or well-known scenes in your own way. I’ve tried, hopefully, to bring some originality to these images.
This collection features some of my favorite color travel shots from near and far.

Each street shot should tell a story or raise questions about our place in the world. Some do both.
It’s a genre that requires the photographer to be alert for the scene. Focus, composition and light have to be worked out in a split-second—the decisive moment.
When it all comes together it can be the most compelling form of photography because it tends to portray the world as it really is.

Street Portraits are a great way to capture interesting faces out in public. It’s one of my favorite things to do and people almost always agree to pose.
Candid shots can be harder. But these images of people out on the street can hold a mirror up to society and the world around us; it’s a look into the human condition.
This type of photography requires sensitivity to exposing people’s vulnerabilities while trying to document the world as it is - not always an easy thing.
