Knackered

Recently back from two weeks in England. Lots of driving - not much time for photography. Despite the full itinerary I did steal time to get out to take a handful of shots. Mostly architectural. A few portraits. One or two landscapes. Not the typical vacation gallery but what can you do. I did get to see the Banksy statue… that was pretty cool.

Once again I travelled light. Leica M-EV1 with a 35mm Summilux and a 28mm Elmarit. That was pretty much all I needed (although I could have used a blower to get dust off the sensor, which I neglected to clean before leaving. Thankfully the new dust removal tool in Lightroom helped out.)

Roundstone

Just back from a quick trip to Roundstone to visit friends and family. Roundstone is a small fishing village on the west coast of Ireland, in Connemara. I brought one camera and three lenses, all of which were used. The camera was a Leica M-EV1. The lenses were a Voiglander 50mm f1.5, a 35mm Summilux and a 28mm Elmarit.

We only stayed a few days and there wasn’t much time for shooting but I did manage to get up early and get some walking and photography in. Lots of boats. The weather was typical Ireland; rain, mist and cool temperatures. But I did have some luck around sunrise with breaks in the clouds— and even a rainbow! Here are my shots.
